Did You Know…?
Green Thumb can identify plants, plant damage, and insect and bacterial damage, and advise on how to deal with problem areas in an organic way or, with a very limited amount of chemicals that does not harm beneficial insects.
- Naturally, Green Thumb can advise on houseplants, too – how to keep them looking good, troubleshoot problem areas and how to re-pot correctly in order to give your houseplants a longer, healthier life.
- One of Green Thumb’s goals is to help and advise people with disabilities in their garden; either by designing a realistic yard plan, or actually helping them tend their gardens and/or houseplants.
- It is possible to advise on a sensible plan for play and planting areas for families with children and pets.
- For both, year-round residents and seasonal visitors who may be used to buying plants for northern climates, Green Thumb can advise which plants to purchase for the desert southwest. Advice saves money!
- The Green Thumb Gardening Coach can offer valuable resources for people who may need additional help such as landscape designers, irrigation experts, reputable nurseries, hardscape merchants and play equipment specialists including pool landscapers and entertainment area specialists.
